Contract leader Landscape Architecture
Belinda leads Nelmac's Professional Services team, providing project management, reporting and tender support along with customer, community and commercial board liaison. She has a cross disciplinary background with a particular interest in public open space design, ecological and engineering-based projects. After graduating in 1991, Belinda began her career with Wellington City Council. Projects that Belinda is particularly proud of include Wellington’s Civic Square development, Otari Native Botanic Garden redevelopment, Wellington Botanic Garden Redevelopment and Oakwood’s Village redevelopment in Richmond, Nelson.
Senior Landscape Architect - Registered
(BLA Hons) NZILA
Lance has worked throughout Canterbury and the top of the South Island since 2004. He has experience with master planning, concept design, landscape and visual assessments, construction detailing and contract documentation, and design for engineering and ecological projects. At Nelmac, Lance works on a range of projects including residential gardens, subdivision developments, urban spaces, public reserves and playgrounds. His more recent projects include The Suter Art Gallery (Te Aratoi O Whakatῡ) renovation, Rutherford Park redevelopment, Manuka Street Hospital Assessment of Landscape and Visual Effects and Bythell Place Urban Design. Lance is an NZILA Registered Landscape Architect and is currently Secretary of the NZILA.
Senior Landscape Architect
Sharyn has been a landscape architect since 1998 and her experience includes five years working in New York. After returning to New Zealand, she spent nine years with Opus NZ in Christchurch, where she was involved in numerous large-scale roading projects for the NZ Transport Agency. Sharyn has also carried out many projects for local authorities and schools - playgrounds, park designs, restoration plans and waterway enhancement. Of particular note is the preparation of numerous reserve management plans for Selwyn District Council and various urban design projects like the Hanmer Springs Main Street Redevelopment. Sharyn has a passion for all things sustainable.
Claire is a Landscape Architect recently graduated from Lincoln University. She has worked in the landscape construction industry for a number of years during her study and as a result has a great understanding of the construction process and construction detailing. Claire brings a high level of vectorworks (CAD) knowledge to the team and has recently completed 3D modelling of stormwater reserve for input into the GPS machinery on a recent worksite. Claire forms an integral part of the Landscape Architecture and Landscape Planning team, providing design input as part of our highly collaborative team and assisting the wider team in the delivery of all aspects of Landscape Architecture.
