Professional Services Team Leader
Belinda has worked closely with Architects, Engineers and Landscape Architects since 1991 when she graduated and began her career with Wellington City Council. Belinda leads Nelmac Professional Services, providing project management, reporting and tender support along with customer, community and commercial board liaison. Belinda has a cross disciplinary background with a particular interest in public space design, ecological and engineering based projects. Projects of note are the Civic Square development (Wellington), Otari Native Botanic Garden redevelopment, Wellington Botanic Garden Redevelopment and Oakwood’s Village redevelopment (Richmond). Belinda’s skills also include consultation, project brief/scope development, construction detailing and large scale planting project delivery.
Senior Landscape Architect - Registered
(BLA Hons) NZILA
Lance has been working in the Landscape Architecture industry throughout Canterbury and the top of the South Island since graduating in 2004. Lance is an NZILA Registered Landscape Architect with a particular focus and skill set in the design and site planning of public and commercial spaces. Lance's broad range of experience includes master planning, concept design, landscape and visual assessments, construction detailing and contract documentation, design for engineering and ecological projects. Lance works on a wide range of projects including residential gardens, subdivision developments, urban spaces, public reserves and playgrounds. More recent projects include The Suter Art Gallery (Te Aratoi O Whakatῡ) renovation, Rutherford Park redevelopment, Manuka Street Hospital Assessment of Landscape and Visual Effects and Bythell Place Urban Design. Lance is currently Secretary of the NZILA.
Senior Landscape Architect
Sharyn has been working as a Landscape Architect since 1998. She worked in New York for five years completing residential design in The Hamptons. This involved customer communication, concept development, developed design and project management. She then spent nine years with Opus NZ in Christchurch, undertaking numerous large scale projects for local authorities. These included several NZTA multidisciplinary roading projects, new schools, Council playgrounds, park designs, restoration plans and waterway enhancement. She also has completed numerous Reserve Management Plans for Selwyn District Council, several Urban Design projects, such as the Hanmer Springs Main Street Redevelopment. Her strengths include a good understanding of client requirements, creative concept design solutions, and a passion for all things sustainable.
