As an Arborist for Nelmac you’ll become part of a co-operative team which has a strong focus on good quality work for our valued and varied customers situation in the Marlborough area.

Nelmac has a long and strong association with arboriculture in New Zealand and as such we operate a well-equipped team, with regular opportunities for some excellent climbing challenges.  Working here will allow you to build on your skills and experience ensuring your work will be an enriching experience for you.

We value people who show they can truly deliver a good job every time.  Your eye for detail will ensure quality work is delivered to our clients, leaving them wanting more of what we do.

To be successful in the role you will have:

•          experience in all aspects of professional arboriculture

•          competence in rope & harness climbing and EWP operation

•          the ability to deliver safe, efficient, quality work on time and to budget

•          accurate tree identification skills

•          full class 1 & 2 driver licences

•          general mechanical aptitude.

We need you to have a clean driver’s licence, NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.  It’s also a requirement that all new employees undergo pre-employment medical checks and drug screening.
