Nelmac has a strong track record in wetland restoration, landscape protection, eco-sourced plant material and revegetation. Between restoring Nelson’s native bush to improving the health of the Haven wetlands, our team understands the environmental landscape in New Zealand to tackle projects that are committed to caring for our national environment.

Our team has experience rebuilding our region’s environment from tracks and trails to wetlands. Improving the health of waterways through native planting and the reintroduction of native fish species, we have been able to see a visible difference to some of Nelson’s beloved rivers and streams.

Working across our division, we can bring together a team to grow plants for natural landscapes within our Nursery, build new or repair existing tracks and trails, and care for our various waterways.

Mindful of current resource consent conditions and regional and national planning regulations, we are able to source a multi-disciplinary team to offer a commitment to environment care for our customers.

Nelmac’s team understands project management. Our project planning expertise includes project definition and scope, procurement, works and scope management, onsite supervision, change and relocation management, and project release. There’s more to a project than drafting a plan. We understands a client’s desired outcomes and, with our technical knowledge, we can faciliate a successful project from start to finish.
